Tamarindo Scuba Diving (non-certified)

Anyone 10 years or older can participate in this adventure of Tamarindo scuba diving. After completing practice skills in the pool lesson you are allowed to dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet, with a chance to see white tip reef sharks, turtles, giant manta rays, octopus, a variety of different fish, rays, and many more species of sea life. There are also dolphins and seasonal humpback whales that can be seen from the boat. Tamarindo scuba diving is one of our favorite tours and something you should check off your bucket list!

IMPORTANT – DSD PARTICIPANTS: Please review the DSD Participant Statement. If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, you are REQUIRED to have a doctor complete a PADI Medical Statement and this will allow you to participate in the DSD tour.

Michael and his team were amazing! This was our first dive in Costa Rica and the very first dive for my 13yr son. The pre-dive training allowed us to get comfortable with the equipment and the morning of the dive we were suited up and guided to the boat. The care and attention given by the dive staff and crew was excellent. The dive spot at Las Catalinas island provided a great beginner training ground with lots of sea life including white tips reef sharks, and schools of fish. Looking forward to out next outing with the Wonder Away team. Thank you!
