We have two Ultimate Weekend Getaways planned for teens 13-17. Here is a complete itinerary for each weekend. At the bottom, you will find information on transportation, pickup/dropoff locations, and start/end times.

February 1  

9:00am – 10:30am: Meet @Wonder Away Kick off the weekend with warm welcomes and introductions.​ Scuba Pool Lessons for non-certified divers doing scuba the next day and fun games for the others​

11am – 12pm: Yoga A fun and energizing yoga session led by Helena. This session focuses on stretching and preparing your body for the exciting water adventures ahead.

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch Recharge with a delicious meal on the beach, featuring fresh, local flavors.

1:00pm – 4:00pm: Water Sports Enjoy the afternoon at Langosta Beach Club with surfing, Hawaiian canoe rides, paddleboarding, boogie boarding, and eFoil lessons.

4:00pm: Farewell / Student pick-up @ Langosta Beach Club

February 2  

9:00am – 9:30 am: Meet @ Scuba Tamarindo (next to Tabú) Try on equipment and get ready for the boat

9:30 am – 1:00pm: Boat trip to Catalina Islands Set sail for an unforgettable morning! Enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, and relaxing on the boat while soaking in the stunning ocean views.

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Beach BBQ Gather for a BBQ lunch and enjoy great company.

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Lunch Recharge with a delicious meal on the beach, featuring fresh, local flavors.

2:00pm – 3:00pm: Creative & Playful Fun End the weekend with some beach games and an epic water gun battle!

3:00pm: Farewell / Student pick-up @ Wonder Away

February 8

7:10am – 8:00am: Meet @ Pick Up Locations See schedule below.

8:00am – 8:30am: Shuttle from Coopeguancaste to APAMI Wildlife Center

8:30am – 10:30am: Visit to APAMI Wildlife Center Help prepare food and assist in feeding the adorable residents of the rescue center. We will stroll through the park, plant seeds in the garden, and collect fresh eggs from the chickens—it will be a hands-on, heartwarming experience!

10:30am – 11:00am: Shuttle from APAMI to Sailing Center in Flamingo

11:00am – 1:30pm: Sailing & Water Games Dive into some serious fun with sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and beach games in Playa Potrero.

1:30pm – 2:30pm: Lunch at Hemingways Restaurant

2:30pm – 3:50pm: Student pick-up Hemingway’s to Langosta; see schedule below.

February 8

7:10am – 8:00am: Meet @ Pick Up Locations See schedule below.

8:00am – 10:00am: Shuttle from Coopeguancaste to La Leona Waterfall Hike

10:00am – 2:30pm: Hike and Tubing at La Leona Waterfalls Embark on a scenic hike followed by thrilling tubing at the beautiful La Leona Waterfalls.

2:30pm – 3:00pm: Lunch Enjoy a delicious Tico-style lunch to recharge.

3:00pm – 5:00pm: Shuttle from La Leona to Coopeguanacaste

5:00pm – 5:50pm: Student pick-up Coopeguanacaste to Langosta; see schedule below.

VERY IMPORTANT: Due to traffic, the bus may be delayed a few minutes, however, it will not be able to wait for passengers who are late. We strongly recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early for the scheduled pick-up time and we ask everyone to be patient if the bus is running late. If there is an unexpected delay of longer than 15 minutes for either pick-up or drop-off, we will reach out to parents directly through whatsapp.
