After two amazing weekends in February, Wonder Away is excited to bring an even more immersive scuba-focused camp this April! Expanding to a 3-5 day adventure, this camp offers teens the chance to explore the underwater world. Whether you’re looking to get PADI certified, try scuba for the first time, or refresh your diving skills, this is the ultimate Costa Rica summer camps for teens who love adventure, learning, and making unforgettable memories!

What’s new for April? This time, campers can choose their own adventure! Whether you’re looking to get PADI certified, refresh your diving skills, try scuba for the first time, or stick to snorkeling, there’s an option for everyone. We will also offer e-foil and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for kids who want to stay above the water.

On our scuba dives, we’ll explore vibrant underwater ecosystems, swimming alongside white-tip reef sharks, manta rays, octopuses, massive schools of fish, and more! All while making new friends and unforgettable memories.

With two weeks to choose from — April 7-11 & April 14-18 — this is the perfect chance to experience one of the best spring break camps for teens. Whether you’re looking for an exciting getaway or a way to build new skills, our Costa Rica summer camps offer the adventure of a lifetime!

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, as Wonder Away hosts the only scuba camp for teens in the area.

Open Water Level 1 (April 7-9 or 14-16) • Includes a mandatory pool session on the Monday of the week you choose.

Advanced Open Water Level 2 (April 7-9 or 14-16) • Complete 6 required dives and final exam.

Open Adventure Days (April 12-13 & 17-18) • Drop-in lessons & one-day experiences available every day!

E-Foil Packages (April 12-13 & 17-18) • Only available on Thursdays & Fridays.

MONDAYS – WEDNESDAYS

$900 – 6 DAYS / 10 TOTAL DIVES – SCUBA CERTIFICATION CAMP

April 7-9 • PADI Open Water (level 1) – Includes 1 day of pool training and classroom, 2 days on the boat (4 total dives), and daily lunch

April 14-16 • PADI Advanced Open Water (level 2) – Includes 3 days on the boat (6 total dives) and daily lunch

$100 for each additional day of diving thereafter 

$500 – 3 DAYS / 4 or 6 TOTAL DIVES – SCUBA CERTIFICATION CAMP

April 7-9 or 14-16 • PADI OPEN WATER (level 1) – Includes PADI certification, gear, 1 day of pool training and classroom, 2 days on the boat (4 total dives), and daily lunch

April 7-9 or 14-16 • ADVANCED OPEN WATER (level 2) – Includes PADI certification, gear, 3 days on the boat (6 total dives), and daily lunch

$300 – eFOIL & CERTIFIED SCUBA CAMP

Must be a certified scuba diver

Includes 1 day on the boat for 1 eFoil lesson (60 minutes) plus 1 scuba dive

If someone wants to join for just a single day, they can choose:

$140 – Scuba Dive (Certified Divers Only)

$180 – Discover Scuba Diving (Non-Certified, Includes Lesson & 1 Dive)

$70 – Snorkeling

Our February camps were a huge success, with 15 teens joining us for two action-packed weekends. New friendships were made, and many tried exciting activities for the first time—including scuba diving, surfing, and sailing!
